MeVisLab
- Volume of a winged-edge-mesh. The algorithm is implemented in the WEMInfo module and can be used by choosing the 'Face Area' option under the 'Advanced' tab.
I created some modules that are not project specific and therefore might be of interest for other purposes.
Macro Modules
- CommandBox - Macro module that allows you to define a list of fields to be touched consecutively within your network. You surely know the situation that you have a network and for test purpose, you always have to press button A, then button B and afterwards button C to get the result. Simply add the CommandBox module to your network, add the three buttons to the command list of CommandBox and all three buttons will be touched with a single mouse click.
- DataLogger - Macro module that allows you to log field values to a file. As a researcher, I do many trials with different parameters. As it can be complicated to remember the right parameter pair for a special result, I wrote the macro module which allows in an easy way to log field values from a network. I often use it when I simulate different parameters on the same network.
- AscendingAortaDetection - automatically detects the ascending aorta (also possible to detect descending aorta) in CT data sets.
- DualEnergyCancelation - tissue cancelation algorithm for better contrast in dual energy CT images.
- XMarkerSelectEachN - extracts each n-th XMarker out of a XMarkerList and puts it into a new XMarkerList.
Inventor modules:
- SoCircle - draws a circle in 3D space.
- SoLine - draws a line in 3D space defined by two points in the module's interface.
- SoLineXMarker - draws a polygon through the points defined by an input XMarkerList.
- SoView2DCircle - draws a circle in 2D.
